Choosing this programme

Our MSc International Management degree programme will give you insight into becoming a successful global business manager. It will enhance your knowledge of how businesses operate and are managed. It also encourages you to explore different topics to help you discover what you want to specialise in. It’s open to graduates from different academic and professional backgrounds.

Our one year postgraduate Master’s programmes are taught in English, and content is equivalent to programmes delivered to other University of Southampton students. The globally respected nature of UK awarded degrees means that the one year UK Master’s is equivalent to a two year Master’s degree awarded from a non-UK source.

What you will study

In your management studies, you’ll explore the traits of effective managers by studying essential concepts. You’ll put your learning into practice with practical exercises and simulations.

We expect to provide 20 seats on this programme for academic year 25/26.

Eligibility criteria

Upper second-class degree or international equivalent.

We do not accept the following degrees:

  • Business English
  • Applied English
  • vocational degrees

English language requirement

We accept several ways of meeting our English language requirement. These include:

  • IELTS Test, with scores of 6.5 overall (6.0 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening)
  • other tests listed on our website
  • an approved academic qualification having the required grade.

If you’ve successfully completed a degree, taught and assessed in English, up to 2 years before the date of first enrolment at the University of Southampton, we may be able to accept this as evidence of your English language ability.

Our fees

You can pay your tuition fee in up to 4 instalments.

The fees for a year’s study, starting in August 2025, are:

  • 15,40,000 INR for India students
  • 17,60,000 INR for Overseas students

Your first payment will be a deposit of 10% of the programme fee. To confirm your offer, you must pay your deposit within 56 days of receiving a conditional offer, and no later than 14 days before the start of term.

For students starting in August 2025, the deposit is:

  • 154,000 INR for India students
  • 176,000 INR for Overseas students

You’ll then pay the balance of your yearly tuition fee as you study, in up to 3 instalments.

If you’re an India student, you’ll have to make 3 separate payments of:

  • 369,600 INR by Monday 8 September 2025
  • 508,200 INR by Monday 26 January 2026
  • 508,200 INR by Monday 20 April 2026

If you’re an Overseas student, you’ll have to make 3 separate payments of:

  • 422,400 INR by Monday 8 September 2025
  • 580,800 INR by Monday 26 January 2026
  • 580,800 INR by Monday 20 April 2026

We may adjust the fees in the future to account for inflation and changes in other costs. Exact payment dates for future years will vary according to the academic calendar.

There are three early application rounds. Submit your application by these dates for early consideration:

  • Early Round 1: Friday 29 November 2024
  • Early Round 2: Monday 20 January 2025
  • Early Round 3: Monday 28 April 2025

As a number of Boards and Examining Bodies release results after these Early Rounds, we intend to accept late applications after Early Rounds have closed. We do reserve the right to no longer accept late applications if a specific programme reaches capacity. We will review applications and contact those have applied with a decision by:

  • Friday 10 January 2025, for Early Round 1
  • Monday 31 March 2025, for Early Round 2
  • Friday 13 June 2025, for Early Round 3
  • Up to the start of term, for late applications after Early rounds

Our programmes are taught in English, and content is equivalent to that delivered to other University of Southampton students. To match the programme lengths of internationally respected UK awarded degrees, undergraduates study for three years, and postgraduates study for one year.

There is normally a 5,500 INR application assessment fee which students would need to pay in order for us to process their application.

We welcome applications for a scholarship or bursary from any self-funding student who will be paying domestic Tuition Fees. Additional criteria, such as programme eligibility, are shown clearly on individual award pages. You must first make an application to study a specific programme before you make an application for a scholarship or bursary.

University of Southampton Delhi students will start with us on in August 2025. They should plan to settle in on campus during the last two weeks of August 2025, preparing themselves for their studies. We expect teaching to start in September 2025.

We encourage students to make their application to study at University of Southampton Delhi as soon as they can. This means we can issue an early Conditional Offer and that students will have the best the chance to meet their offer conditions. If demand is high, we may choose to close applications earlier than mentioned, but students with Offers to study would receive preferential treatment.

We are taking applications right now for the first intake of students in August 2025. We encourage students to apply as soon as possible so that they can receive a Conditional Offer based on predicted scores for their chosen programme. We can accept an application from a student using their predicted grades if we receive their final grades once they are available.
